Wings, Horns, & Claws
Wings, Horns, & Claws: A Dinosaur Book of Epic Proportions is an affectionate pictorial tribute to those prehistoric animals, who grow with every turn of the page reinforcing the cognitive learning concept of size and proportion. Wormell’s trademark beautiful woodcut illustrations are paired here with very detailed descriptions of his subjects, many of them the lesser-known, unsung dinos of the Jurassic world. His unique vision and incredible artistry elevate this book above the crowd of volumes devoted to the Earth’s coolest monsters. A great choice for kids and even adults who can’t get enough of these mythic creatures.

Teeth, Tales, & Tentacles
Teeth, Tails, & Tentacles: An Animal Counting Book explores numbers and animals in an innovative new way. Using his signature, vivid lino-cut prints, Wormell takes a unique approach to illustrating the numbers from 1 to 20. Each illustration highlights intriguing parts, behaviors, or specific features in an animal, rather than simply increasing the number of the animals themselves. Readers begin with one horn on a rhinoceros and count to twenty barnacles on a humpback whale. The book also includes an index of the familiar and exotic animals showcased.
